Hello good evening and welcome

Post by phil hansford » 13 Sep 2016, 19:55

Hi to all members.... Have been away from playing for some time now, think it was a Tyros 1 or 2 the last keyboard I had. But now have a Tyros 4 which came Monday 12, haven't played it yet because I,m away all week, so cant wait till the weekend

Really do like playing The Shadows songs so if anyone can point me in the direction of any of the Shads styles that would be great.

Hope I can find my box of bits with sheet music and books and stuff,it,s been so long the mice will have to find another place to sleep.

Hello Phil and welcome to the forum. You will enjoy your Tyros 4 it is a very good keyboard. If you have any questions we have a Tyros 4 section so just ask away.
Here are a couple of Shadows styles you may not have.

Thank you EIleen. I did have alot of .sty files collected over the years but all on 3 1/2 floppy , need to find them first and put then on to a stick, probably wont work properly so start afresh me thinks.

Hello Phil,

Welcome to the forum and many greetings from the Canadian Rockies. I bet you will have tons of fun with your new Tyros 4 - it's a great keyboard with super sounds.

Cheers, Roland

Thank you all for your Welcome...

I will post this question in the the main forum as well.

I am away from home all week, so was thinking of getting something I could practice on while away.
With sounds like the Tyros but smaller 49 keys perhaps, or a controller keyboard with a midi box full
of accompaniment and voices.

Is there such a thing pray tell

cheers. Phil

Hi Phil,
Don't know of anything with 49 keys but take a look at the S770.
