Help please with using two monitors from one computer.

Post by David » 09 Sep 2014, 16:38

Hi
I have a touch-screen as monitor for my computer. My old monitor( which is not a touch-screen) I would like to use in front of my piano keyboard, as a second screen. This would enable me to see the exact same thing on the two monitors. I have purchased a good quality adaptor to run from the computer to the two screens and it gives me a perfect picture on the monitor in front of the keyboard, but there is some ‘break-up’ of the picture on the touch-screen, which I assume is due to the sensitivity of the touch-screen. I would be obliged for any advice and suggestions as to how I might reduce this breaking-up, or even advice as to whether I may be able to reduce it at all.

Hi David,

I am not sure what you mean. Can you post a picture of both screen to show you're problem?
How did you make you're settings for both screens in the graphic driver software.
Pressing the right buttons and a lot of happiness will be yours.

you need a good quality video splitter.
As a thought dose your touch screen monitor have a USB input. Sometimes a separate usb from main PC to monitor is required
