Hallo George
Just open the file in Musescore. Click File and Open. Select your file. Then Click on Notes and Transpose. Select the key you want to transpose to and click OK. That's it!!

Hi George

If the Wikifonia file is a PDF file you will not be able to transpose it directly in Musecore.

There is another batch of Wikifonia downloads that are in XML format and these will open in Musecore.

Hi George are the songs in PDF format or XML. If in XML then you can transpose them in the programme. If in PDF you can't.

Hi George

Open the Musescore program.
At the top of the screen click on "File" then click "Open" Select the song you wish to transpose.
Then at the top of the screen again - You will see "Notes" - click on this then select "Transpose"
The program will then tell you you have not selected any notes and ask if you want to transpose the whole score. Click Yes.

When complete you can then print it out or save it as a PDF or MSCZ File.

Hello again Yes the wiki files are in pdf format which was a problem.I have since downloaded another Wiki data base in xml format showing all the titles .Do I have to move them to the right hand side of the Musescore page to use them? how do I do this?

Hi George

1. Copy a song you want from Wiki db and past it onto your desktop
2. Open the Musescore program.
3. At the top of the screen click on "File" then click "Open"
4. Click on desktop
5. Select the song that you have pasted onto your desktop
6. At the top of the screen again - You will see "Notes" -
7. Click on Notes and then select "Transpose"
8. Select the key you want to transpose to and click OK

Best Wishes

Richard
