Minuet Style

Post by TubaTed » 06 Jan 2015, 15:07

Hi
I've tried many different 3/4 styles but can't seem to find one totally suitable for a minuet - In particular, "Minuet in G" by Bach.
The score I'm using has two staves and the left hand notes vary from tied dotted minims in some bars to detached crotchets in others, giving a light accompaniment to the solo voice above it. Ideally, I should learn to play it both hands on, as a pianist would do!
Until I do, has anyone a favourite style for such a minuet, they could point me to?

Thank you Eileen
Found ClassicalMenuet under 09Movie&Show - just the ticket!
There are a few other classical styles there too, I'd overlooked
